Mike Fleck has been building and repairing guitars since 1994 and has run his own successful guitar repair shop in Anchorage, Alaska since 2001. Mike has built a reputation for being a perfectionist in his work. He has been playing guitar since fourth grade, inspired by late night music videos and the guitar powered music of the '80s. After completing schooling in Red Wing, Minnesota in 1996, Mike spent time in New England working for Parker guitars. While Mike has put a roof over his head and provided for his family through repair and restoration work he has always been fueled by his passion for building guitars, in particular, electric guitars. Over his almost 20 years of experience, Mike has had almost every style of guitar pass through his hands, and has used this experience in designing a guitar that is comfortable to play and built with an obsessive attention to detail.

Mike manufactures his guitars start to finish, at his shop in Anchorage and is the sole builder for Fleck Electric. His work is sought afetr by the likes of Dana Bourgeois who has Mike manufacture high end FWI guitar fittings that adorn some of Bourgeois’ most exclusive models.

Mike is a lifelong Alaskan. In addition to his work with guitars Mike spends time catching and canning salmon, and in general living the Alaskan lifestyle. Mike currently resides in Chugiak, Alaska with his wife and two daughters.
