Made in the USA, this guitar features a beautifully aged white blonde nitro lacquer finish on a lightweight pine body. The maple neck with rosewood fingerboard has a '50s soft V-C profile (.86") and a 25.5" scale length that's 1 11/16" at the bone nut with a 9.5" radius, and 6105 frets. The neck has a lightly aged satin finish that feels great and will not get sticky when playing. Tuners are vintage-style Klusons.

This "Djangocaster"guitar has a Selmer/Maccafferri style tailpiece to reduce string tension and is set up with flatwound Thomastik 12s. This setup gives the guitar a slinky feel with a smoother high end and a softer attack compared with a standard Tele setup.

In the bridge possition is a Mojo UK 'Ozark-style' lap steel pickup which is very fat sounding with tons of sustain and punch. These are uniquely sensitive pickups which nail the vintage character and tone of the original design. Primarily used by slide players like Ry Cooder, Jason Isbell and Blake Mills, these lap steel pickups have a special magic with open tunings and bottleneck playing. The integrated bridge has Gotoh ‘In Tune’ brass saddles which are notched and compensated for accurate intonation.

The neck pickup is Mojo's reissue of a Teisco-spec Gold Foil pickup that has a clear and open sound that's scooped in the midrange. It provides a nice complement & contrast to the bridge pickup, tonally.

There's vintage inspired pots, a PIO cap and cloth covered wiring, Pure Tone jack, metal switch tip and vintage HiFi knobs on the reversed control plate. The firestripe surround on the neck pickup against the black pickguard ties it all together.

Great parts and great care go into these guitars and this one comes in a hardshell case. Demo video was recorded in standard tuning through a Neural DSP Quad Cortex straight into Logic.
