Collection: Josh Williams
Josh Williams' love of working with his hands came from his father, a skilled craftsman who allowed Josh to work alongside him as Josh grew up. Then, Josh developed a passion for guitars and searched for a way to bring the two together. Josh found and attended the Roberto-Venn School of Luthiery where he obtained practical and theoretical training in the creation and repair of both acoustic and electric guitars.

Then, Josh developed a passion for guitars and searched for a way to bring the two together. Josh found and attended the Roberto-Venn School of Luthiery where he obtained practical and theoretical training in the creation and repair of both acoustic and electric guitars.
Josh graduated from the five-month program at Roberto-Venn and worked diligently to sharpen his skills in design, detailing and finish work. Then, a well-known and respected repair shop in San Diego, The Blue Guitar, hired him. During his time there, he met and apprenticed under Yuris Zeltins, an incredible, highly respected luthier known around the world. Zeltins' knowledge from over 40 years in the study of French polishing and his specialization in classical and flamenco guitars influenced Josh in ways he had never imagined.
Josh takes the immeasurable information from these experiences and now builds in Fallbrook, California. Over the years he has developed the most incredible small team to help keep up with demand. He's still involved in every step of the building process, from picking out the wood to carving the braces and necks, to the final set up. Keeping with the traditional way allows him to pay attention to every little detail in every custom instrument.
