The Carlsbad came to life after endless sketches, renders and prototypes that sought to address many of the playabilty concerns of the classic offset design while maintaining a firm hold on the nostalgic look that has made them so revered. The Iconic Carlsbad is the first of many exclusive models to come from Iconic.
Vintage Carlsbad
The Vintage Series Carlsbad can be ordered with options, such as Indian rosewood fretboard, several stunning finishes, some really neat aesthetic choices (standard thin nitro colors, light relic and various pickguard types) and Iconic Padded Gigbag in place of the standard G&G Deluxe Hardshell case. Custom upgrades are available for an additional cost.
Carlsbad VM (Vintage Modern)
The Carlsbad Vintage Modern takes the Carlsbad design into a new level of playability, with a sleek and flatter fretboard and some hot pickup choices.
Carlsbad Evo (Evolution)
The Evolution of a classic shape, exploring vast tonal ranges with a level of shredness that is unparalleled. Iconic has taken this dynamic style guitar to the next level in the Evolution Series, with modern features and playabilty that are unmatched. Modern style tremolo systems, a multitude of pickup combinations, compound radius fretboards and the highest quality hardware all add up to an amazing playing experience. The Carlsbad Evolution takes the popular offset aesthetics to the last level.
