Something a little different here. This is Daylighter 4449-17HB. Its a Hollowbody, similar to -12 but Mahogany back and neck. What is really different is this one has a TV Jones HiLo in the neck. Dripping in Vintage Gretsch Vibe, what really shocked us was the pseudo acoustic tone we were able to achieve by simply rolling the volume back.

Evan Brewer

Bassist Evan Brewer is simply an amazing musician. He played with Tosin Abasi (pre-Animals As Leaders) and tours playing solo bass. Evan visited me at NAMM so we could talk about building a bass for him. I thought this instrument body shape (Sketch) would fit him well, so he gave it a test flight. Even though Evan is not a guitar player, he acclimated quickly to the 7-string guitar, translating his technique from bass.
