In Frank Verrilli's words:
"One of the things I like so much about a J master offset, is how they make you play differently. Something about the way it rests on your lap, the looseness from it being a top loader, the controls and especially the tremolo. I find these guitars make one play more melodically, more sparingly, less bending, experimental, more chordal, etc...
"A lot of times players shy away from a J master if their first experience was not so great (ie playing one that is not set up properly with the strings popping out of the saddle, the whammy bar bringing it out of tune, not understanding the controls, etc...)."
Regarding the bridges, this model set up with a rocking bridge which allows the smoothest most sensitive tremolo that can be experienced. It can also be made available with the the Mastery bridge which doesn't rock, but allows you to be more aggressive with the tremolo.
