Frank Verrilli is originally from Bridgeport, Connecticut. He has been a woodworker all his life.

In roughly 2006 he was given a job to carve and finish a guitar, since he also plays a little he thought he'd make a couple for himself. About the same time he started appreciating vintage tube amplifiers, and soon he became hooked on the process of building guitars that would incorporate his sensibility of design and also function well. His skills at working with wood, carving, finishing, distressing, etc., as well as his ability to think outside the box allowed him to come up with some unique takes on classic guitar models. Along with his intricate hand carved guitar bodies, he's come up with some very distinct features and twists on traditional looking guitars.

Verrilli relies on a lot of relicing techniques to add to his earthy and organic style. According to Frank, "I like a guitar to look like it's alive, and has some character, having a comfort and looseness about it that makes it very approachable, so you want to hold it and play, and especially do not have to worry about scratching it or having to tuck it away in a case after you play it. It remains a work in progress that just gets better with time."
