Want a fretboard with compound radius for a lower string action? Or perhaps you'd like to experience Lospennato's 'Salt and Pepper' controls - these are on-board sound processing controls that you won't find in any other guitar. And wait until you hear about 'Chili', or Leo's Freedom Neck, a new, unique, ergonomic guitar neck shape. In Leo Lospennato's approach, innovation is not only possible; it is necessary.
The Lospennato Mrs Jazz
The Mrs. Jazz is the closest to an archtop guitar that Leo has ventured, given his preference for solid-body guitars. The top is textured by hand—each line carved and filled with colored wood—and the back is made of a highly figured Ziricote piece. The knobs came from a real vintage radio, and the pickguard was handmade from an old piece of (non-endangered) black wood. A flamed maple neck contributes to the 1930s notes of the design.
