Want a fretboard with compound radius for a lower string action? Or perhaps you'd like to experience Lospennato's 'Salt and Pepper' controls - these are on-board sound processing controls that you won't find in any other guitar. And wait until you hear about 'Chili', or Leo's Freedom Neck, a new, unique, ergonomic guitar neck shape. In Leo Lospennato's approach, innovation is not only possible; it is necessary.

The sound of traditional guitars, being acoustic instruments, is strongly dependent on following traditional lutherie techniques. Stray too far away from the ways of the trade, and the thing won’t sound very well.

Electric guitars are free of such concerns. Granted, some purists still look for tonal differences between solid-body instruments made with different woods. And differences there might be, but they remain subjective and consequently not worthy of lengthy debates. Instead, Leo is always looking for unexpected materials, like in this prototype that mixes acrylic and wood, covered with Tolex, the material used to upholster amplifiers.

The metaphor of choice is an atomic one, like a musical version of some old, nuclear-powered artifact.
