As in a real amp, lower levels of gain make the sound bright and dynamic, turning into darker and more compact tones at the higher levels. At every setting, the True Drive guarantees the best quality of sound. The tone control, which balances highs and mid-lows, together with the Normal/Big switch provide you with a limitless range of sounds, to perfectly match every need, every taste, every amp.
The switch acts on the internal clipping mode to create different distortions - in the Normal mode you get distorted sound, increased sustain, and lower total volume; in the Big mode the distortion is lower while the sound gets more compact and heavier and the volume increases.
The True Drive’s expressive capabilities are high. Set in the Big mode, with high volume and low levels of gain (1-2/10), it becomes an excellent Boost!
