VELVET & FIRE
Some guitars are collectible, some are part of a larger story. This 1962 Gibson Les Paul SG belonged to Allan Holdsworth and was played during the recording of Velvet Darkness.
Holdsworth, of course, is one of the most singular voices the instrument has ever known, and this guitar was played by Holdsworth before the endless imitation, before anyone really understood what he was doing.
There’s a special, almost haunting quality with instruments like this. Every inch of it feels lived in. You can almost hear the record in it.
- Worn white finish
- Gold hardware softened by time
A once in a lifetime opportunity to own a genuine piece of guitar history!
