 Jonathan Wilson and GVCG create a new type of timeless classic, the "Organic Vintage Replica," which defies all odds and scientific norms to produce an instrument that absolutely feels, sounds, and looks old. His work is both uncanny, and unmatched. The GVCG models that have been released to the public have created quite a stir among players and astute collectors alike. Each model is completely hand hewn, rubbed, and crafted to produce an instrument that is truly unique. Jonathan carries on a long family tradition of creating instruments, from the homemade fretless mountain banjos of his southern ancestors to the exquisite handmade instruments he produces now in his shop.

There is an audience out there waiting for the next GVCG guitar to be created and once it is posted for sale, it doesn't last 10 seconds. His guitars are so spot on that they could easily fool the best vintage authority, but we deliberately put markings in the neck pocket so they can't be resold as originals. Every part of the GVCG guitars is hand aged and shaped by Jonathan. The aging is correct even in the screw holes, and inside the tuning heads. There is not a spot that is overlooked, every screw head etc... His real magic is creating and matching the right neck to the body which he spends endless hours hand shaping.
