The Welagen Express, Liverpool, and Rocket amplifiers are faithful recreations of the legendary Trainwreck amps as designed by Ken Fischer. All three amplifiers are extremely responsive to pick attack, rich in harmonics, and will clean up extremely well when the volume of the guitar is dialed back.
The Rocket provides gorgeous bold and touch sensitive chimey cleans. The Rocket finds its design roots in the AC30 featuring 4xEL84 power tubes and a GZ34 tube rectifier. The Liverpool amplifier has medium gain with a bluesy, sweet response, with 4xEL84 power tubes and a solid state rectifier. The Express amplifier provides clean to high gain tones. The Express features 2xEL34 power tubes and a solid state rectifier.
The Welagen Wrecks are made with original NOS Pacific transformers, made for Ken Fischer to his spec, NOS Vectorbord/fleaclips, NOS Mallory PVC signal caps, and RV4 Mil Spec pots, just like the originals. Extremely limited quantity of NOS parts for these amplifiers are available, this is a limited run.
