Scott Sheldon Coming to DAG

We’re thrilled to announce our partnership with the legendary Scott Sheldon of Mission Guitars, MCi Guitars, and Max Guitars fame! Scott worked with Max Baranet for over 20 years and developed his own brand in 2003. Together, we'll be pushing the boundaries of quality, craftsmanship and innovation in the world of guitars.

We look forward to introducing you to the line of Sheldon Guitars as well as a special line of DAG branded guitars designed by Scott, with our input. This has been a long time coming and is a dream come true for DAG.

Scott Sheldon is a boutique masterbuilder of fine handmade custom instruments. Based in Southern California, Scott specializes in building guitars the way they did in the golden era of electric guitar manufacturing in the 1950s & 1960s using only 50 to 100+ year-old old growth tone woods and pre-ban woods. Each instrument is meticulously crafted by hand without the use of computers (CNC), using brown hide glue and applying historically accurate finishes to recreate the feel and tone of vintage instruments without the high price tag. He makes very few guitars a year; each one is truly a labor of love.
